The Weinland Park community is located right in the heart of Columbus Ohio. With location only minutes away from luxurious downtown scenery, and minutes away from The Ohio State University, The Weinland Park Wildcats are the premier attraction to the neighborhood and provide a strong and positive impact to the local school.
Youth Football has always been a part of the neighborhood, and The Weinland Park Wildcats have harnessed its presences and exposes a light in today’s youth that may need positive reinforcement. The stakeholders that organize the program are residents that live in the community and want the children that come from all demographics of diversity to live healthy lives by being active, Attaining more than the average level of education and being a Role Model/Leader at all times.
Since 2012, the Wildcats have participated in many leagues but has finally found its home in the United Youth Football League. With new sponsorships and new staff, the Wildcats look to become the premier team in Columbus to compete in the Ohio Youth Sports Conference and bring home Weinland Park's first National Championship.
